While the replacement and phase-out of NPEs has done voluntarily basis, NP and NPEs will soon be added to the EPA’s List of Chemicals of Concern. This may result in new reporting limits (Toxics Release Inventory), new use rules, limiting the production of, or banning NPEs completely. For years, the EPA has had concerns about potential ecological effects due to the manufacturing, processing, and uses of NPEs in addition to potential risks to human health.
Harcros offers a full line of NPE replacement products and the technical support to insure proper selection and formulation assistance for optimal performance.
